“Writing is rewriting.” If your dream is to finish a book, know that it takes several drafts, all sorts of detours and a lot of perseverance. It’s a marathon, not a sprint, and the best way to ensure you keep going is to set up a Todoist project with a bunch of scheduled tasks to keep you moving along even when it feels tough.
Start with this template once you’re committed: “I’m going to finish this book”. Plan then write your first draft, and keep rewriting drafts until you’ve improved to the point that you like the whole thing.
