  • Monthly routine for your life, study, work or business
  • Monthly plan for keeping your life on track

This Notion Monthly Planner template is divided into four key areas to help you keep on top of your week:

  1. Doing
  2. Noticing
  3. Capturing
  4. Building

🗺 Planning

This part of your monthly planner is for adding your appointments and tasks. There is also space to add your Top Task, the most important task for you to complete this month. This section is set up to display only this month’s tasks with any tasks from the past or future only displayed in the attached Planning Database. Categories include To Do (tasks), To Buy (shopping list) and To Go (appointments and meetings). You can view your monthly planning in Monthly Calendar view, Task List view (only showing To Do and To Buy) or Lists by Category view for a Kanban/board view of your appointments and tasks.

🐒 Noticing

This part of your online monthly planner template will help you to notice more in your life. You don’t have to use all sections and can delete any you’re not using. The sections in Noticing are:

  • This Felt Like Progress – often tied to your Top Task, this area is to reflect on what was the main thing you did that felt like progress
  • Things That Worked – mark down the things that worked for you during the month
  • Things That Didn’t Work – mark down the things that didn’t work for you during the month
  • My Energy Today – write down an overview of your energy through each day. During your monthly review, the context of this field will be more useful than seeing a 7/10 energy score
  • My Mood Today – write down an overview of your mood
  • #grateful – write down the things you’re grateful for

Capturing

This part of your digital monthly planner allows you to capture information during the month and develop a routine. Capture links for you to access later, quotes from social media, books, friends etc and capture life-giving words AKA helpful or kind things that people have said about you or your work. Stored links & quotes are handy for referencing later and the life-giving words are for looking up any time that you’re having a harder day. This section has a filter set up to show the information you have captured during the month.

🌇 Building

This is the habit-building planner part of your monthly planner. Track your habits, your friendships (like a simple notion Personal CRM) and your business networking in this part of the template that does not update daily. This section can be reviewed monthly (it is set up with a monthly filter) as you work towards your goals and build healthy habits.
