The process for using this template is:

Before the Meeting 

Both the manager and the team member add topics (as Tasks) to the Asana workspace before the meeting. Topics are added as Info, Blocker, Discuss or On Hold.

During the Meeting

Topics are discussed, notes are added and action items (with action owner) are added as sub-tasks.

After the Meeting

Task notes are updated and are checked off as completed.

What you need before purchase

  • Paid Asana Premium account (sign up here)

After purchase

After purchase you’ll be able to download the template immediately. The template comes in a .csv format and can added to your paid Asana account by:

  • Download .csv file from Gumroad
  • Login to Asana and click on the “+” icon next to your workspace name
  • Under “Create Project”, select “Import spreadsheet”
  • Name your project, select Privacy options and click the “Select file to import” button
  • Click on “Select a CSV file to import”
  • Click on “Go to project”
  • Your sample tasks will start populating (give it a minute to upload)
  • Delete out the sample content and add your own sample tasks
  • Click on the dropdown arrow icon next to the Project name and click on “Convert to template”
  • Your template is now ready to use for all new one-on-one meetings

For ongoing use, the steps are:

  • Login to Asana and click on the “+” icon next to your workspace name
  • Under “Create Project”, select “Use a template”
  • Your template will shown under General Templates and also under the “By [your company name]” section
